This book is absolutely amazing! I know the author of this book, Olusegun, personally because he helped teach my anatomy lab in graduate school this pasts summer semester at Campbell University while dissecting cadavers. I have to say, he is the most knowledgeable person I have ever met, his knowledge off the human body and anything to do with it literally blew my mind every single day in lab. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he is so very humble about it, which makes it all the better. For anyone looking for information about anything to do with total hip arthroplasty, from which surgical techniques are best to which rehabilitation techniques are best along with a great overview of the anatomy of the hip and lower extremity, I would extremely recommend this book because I can guarantee you that there is not better book to learn from!

P.S. The author of this book had absolutely nothing to do with this review nor did he even know that I was going to post a review about his book, so please do not think I am bias because I know the author personally. I speak so highly of him because he is simply that smart and knowledgeable, and if you were to meet him then I can promise you that you would agree with me as well.

Hard to read version because words are missing and in some places letters are left out. Took a while for me to figure out that "uid" means "fluid," for example. A very strange typographical phenomenon.
Buy this book if you are a PT/OT practitioner. Compared to similar books, this book is well illustrated and detailed . It has everything you need to know about total hip arthroplasty, very comprehensive and a good reference in hospitals and clinics.
version is almost unreadable. Many typographic errors and illustrations are indecipherable.
There are no actual figures shown in the kindle edition of this book.
This is a great book for Rehabilitative specialist, individuals and families with any and all forms of hip injury.
It is concise and straightforward with clear pictures and hip exercise regimes.
Written by surgeons and physical therapist who knows their callings! A must buy for those associated or interested in care of the elderly, and folks contemplating or recovering from any form of hip surgery.
This is a must have guide for physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses and health professionals involved in the rehabilitation of individuals with hip arthroplasty. It addresses all aspects including anatomy, different surgical approaches, functional rehabilitation, activity recommendations, treatment of soft tissue impairments after surgery and complications in a concise yet comprehensive manner. It is wonderful to finally have an evidence-based guide like this for the management of hip arthroplasty.
As an internal medicine hospitalist at a very busy hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, I admit many patients who have had hip fractures. Having the surgery is the easier part of their therapy. The rehabilitation is the hard part. I never fully understood the intricacies of the rehabilitation process after having a total hip arthroplasty until I read this great book. I now understand and can better articulate the subject matter to my patients. I wish it was available when I first started.
